The contest is open to all community members. Artists must enter in one of the following age groups: 11 and under, 12–17, 18 and up. No entry fee is required.

• Theme (Preferred): Nature, climbing, movement, or the outdoor spirit. However, all original artwork is welcome, even if it does not fit the preferred theme.

• Original Work Only: Artwork must be the original creation of the artist. AI pieces may not be submitted.

• Display Requirements:

• Artwork must be suitable for hanging on a wall.

• Framed pieces are preferred, but not required.

• Please ensure artwork is sturdy and safe for public display.

• Each artist may submit 1 or 2 pieces of artwork, but will only be eligible for 1 prize

• Each artist will need to register on the MetroRock Tyngsboro web page. Adults will need to register children. 

• By entering the contest, artists agree that MetroRock will keep the submitted artwork.

• Submitted pieces may be displayed in the gym for an extended period and viewed by the public.

• Artwork will be judged within each age group by public voting. 

• Judging criteria may include creativity, effort, originality, and overall impact.

• Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 winners in each age group

• Adult (18 and up) 

1st place - $50 gift card

2nd place - Free day pass

3rd place - Free Mug

• Youth (12 - 17)

1st place - $50 gift card

2nd place - Free chalk bag

3rd place - Free Beanie

• Kids (11 and under)

1st place - $50 gift card

2nd place - Free boulder ball

3rd place - Free coloring book and stickers

• MetroRock reserves the right to decline artwork that is unsafe, inappropriate, or unsuitable for public display.

• Submission of artwork constitutes acceptance of these rules.
