Top Rope Belay Class

Learn how to use the ropes! You must be 14+.


In this class you will:

  • Learn how to tie in with a figure 8 follow-through

  • Learn how to set up a standard belay device and how it works

  • Learn how to perform a pre-climb check

  • Have time to practice belaying your climbing partner

Offered Thursdays 7-9pm and Saturdays 3-5pm starting in March

Intro to Lead Class

Are you comfortable top roping and consistently climbing 5.10s? Ready to take it to the next level?

In this class you will :

  • Learn to clip your rope into quickdraws

  • Learn how to dynamically lead belay

  • Learn to fall and catch a fall

  • Have time to practice lead climbing and lead belaying
